About This Project

The six-episode docuseries Religion of Sports, produced by Tom Brady, Michael Strahan, and Gotham Chopra, explores how sports profoundly influence societies and cultures. Amanda directed the series’ second episode about the Calgary Stampede Rodeo, which is familiar territory for Amanda—the very first film she directed, “Just for the Ride,” was about rodeo cowgirls.

The program aired on DirectTV in November and will be available to non-subscribers on iTunes in 2017.
